Ben & Jen - Married Superstar Couple
Guess what? Brad and Angelina arent’ the only do-good couple in Hollywood. Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are using their celebrity status to provide goodwill as well.
The married pair will host the Starry Starry night benefit gala September 19 2008. The gala will aid the University of Charlston in Jennifer’s West Virginia hometown. The gala is in memorium of the University’s star alumni, Mario Palumbo and Louise Corey. A couple who gave their all to the University and who unfortunately died together in 2004 on Independance Day weekend. Garner, who is friends with the son of Louise’s Corey’s friend, opted to use her celeb status and help host the event with her husband.
At $250 a ticket, the event is expected to raise $500,000 to help build a massive sports complex at the University. Tickets go on sale July 1.
