Celebrities are notorious for quick weddings and extra quick divorces! Who makes the list for shortage celebrity weddings?
1. Just hours after tying the knot, Britney Spears’ first wedding to Jason Alexander, a childhood friend, was annulled.
2. Jennifer Lopez’s number two? wedding to dancer Chris Judd only lasted eight months.
3. Shannon Doherty lasted only five months with Ashley Hamilton
4. Tying with Shannon Doherty is Carmen Electra who remained married to Dennis Rodman for only five months.
5. Lisa Marie Presley married Nicolas Cage and for reasons only she knows, remained married for three months, a lot less time than she was married to Michael Jackson! (She was married to the ‘King of Pop’ for a whopping 20 months)
6. Cher and musician Gregg Allman only remained married for nine days.
It’s a shame that celebrities can fall in and out of love so callously. You have to wonder if it’s the pressure of the industry, or publicity stunts.
